A London, caminar, caminar, caminar... Big Ben, Westminster, Buckingham Palace (els guardes reials, el públic apropant-se a la reixa per veure el Palau -com si no es veiés de lluny-), Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, Covent Garden, British Museum, Soho, Brick Lane, Oxford Street, The City, Tate Modern Museum i Notting Hill. Quasi res!
I em busca continuament.
Ja no estem junts. Ara, nous profes, nous companys i molt bé.
I’m here again. I have not forgotten about the blog, I only had bit time to devote or to connect to the Internet. Why? I received a very special visit with which I have spent 5 fantastic days. First in Cambridge, then in London. Maria (Hello Maria!) made a undesirable trip (what schedules!) to see me after one month ago.
We made an effort to make ultrafast visits to Cambridge and London, as you can see on the pictures. In Cambridge (latest pictures), we visited Queen’s College and University Library, with prior rest at The Eagle, the oldest pub in Cambridge, where Professor Watson and his partner discovered (after several beers) the DNA chain with helix form. Undoubtedly, one of the most important discoveries of our age. Impossible to drink coffee and not think about my high school biology teacher (Basseda, I remember you...)
In London, walking, walking, walking ... Big Ben, Westminster Palace Buckingham (royal guards, the viewers closer to the fence to see the palace -as if you can’t see it from far-), Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, Covent Garden, British Museum, Soho, Brick Lane, Oxford Street, The City, Tate Modern Museum and Notting Hill. Almost nothing! I have to say that we had two high-class guides during the afternoon of Sunday (thanks Andrea and Kevin).
The weekend has passed and I have come back to Cambridge with my new life: Marcus looking to buy a new home, Miki I am not clear yet if she works every day and what she does it in, and Christian, who still cries and complains and sometimes even he doesn’t know why. They are great. I have to say that the "Christian Reeducation" project is progressing slowly. It's difficult without the explicit consent of parents. Anyway, as I told some of you, I think I am the only person who gives him time to play and just play. The problem is that when you stopped doing so... he begins to cry. But basically, he is delighted. He’s always looking for me.
At the English School, I have changed class and teacher. Thing that I'm happy with, because the teacher who I had before wasn’t really a teacher. He was a lawyer. He knew so pedagogy and didactics as I know about nuclear fusion. I recognize that I can’t tolerate him so much. The day I told him that I haven’t done my homework because I didn’t consider it relevant to my English he told me to do, as an alternative, a 200 words composition to describe the inside of a ping-pong ball. He had 240 words on the following day. It was a waste of time doing lesson with him. He didn’t like me. He knew that I didn’t like him and then he doesn’t like me. I knew that he knew that I didn’t like him. And he knew that I knew that he knew I didn’t like him. Well, t doesn’t matter. We aren’t together anymore. Now, new teachers, new classmates and everything is good. And among other things, today I learned that the Cambodian alphabet is the largest in the world with 74 letters. It changes my life...
